A Romantic Teacup

A Romantic Teacup at the Castle

This dainty Vintage teacup is a Foley
Made in England .  It's pastel blue background with a pink and white rose are so tranquil!
The scalloped gold trim with gold flowers make it one of my treasured romantic favourites!

It is dated 1850 but I believe it was produced in the 1950's..

Being in a romantic mood and searching for similar antique collections, I discovered some new blogspots that I adore when I linked on to  "Beverly's Pink Saturday".

Thank you so very much Beverly for hosting such a fabulous party!

One post that especially inspired me was "Olivia's Romantic Home."  Her 'Rose Garden Party' was so very beautiful and romantic.  I hope that you will visit it too!

  2. Karen:
I will tell you the other 2 have a lot more gold and I think they are even prettier. I would love to find a teapot but I don't know if it exists or not!

    Also...I have a newer blog address: http://blog.bernideens.com/

  5. I just love your elegant teacup and saucer. Foley and Shelly have always been two of my favorite companies to create lovely cup and saucer patterns. I enjoyed reading your past posts about crusing! Your darling red transferware teapot will be great with Pink Vista. Thanks for sharing the wonderful trips and the photos.

  7. Oh your Foley is gorgeous! The coloring and design are beautiful, like art! I only have two Foley tea cups, I think. They are really lovely. Foley seems to make high quality china.
    Hugs,
    Terri

I have spent some time visiting your blog this morning, and I just signed up for e-mail notifications. You have exquisite pieces in your home. I would say you make the "perfect pinkie".♥
