A Love Story

Welcome Lovely Friends to:
A Love Story

Many years ago my dear father found an elegant china pattern that we called " Love Story".  He bought the large plate and a matching teacup for my loving mother.

I was so fortunate  to find a similar teacup in pink while treasure hunting in an antique mall in Springfield, Oregon this summer.

It was $10.00.

Sweet sister has the blue teacup and generously gave me the large exquisite plate.

These pieces were my mother's precious treasures because they were such special Christmas presents from her loving husband.

This porcelain china is made in West Germany and is marked J.K. Décor, Carlsbad,  Bavaria.

Each romantic section has a little different love story picture.

Don't you think that " Love Story "is a perfect name for this pattern?

Thank you for visiting

"A Love Story"

  3. Hi Karen,
Your Love Story pieces are really pretty. I am so enamoured by pieces that have the Victorian couples on them. Gorgeous colours and a lovely story to go along with them. Thank you for sharing and joining me for Tea Time. Have a beautiful day.

    Blessings,

  8. Everything looks so beautiful and the " Love Story" is one of my favourites, which I have been collecting over the years..However they are now becoming very pricey… so your $10.00 price tag plate was a real steal( Ha Ha) …. but OMG what a sweet story you have shared with us during this teatime…..THANK YOU .

  12. Karen, that is so pretty. I have some similar cups but not nearly as charming. Your whole room with those beautiful pillows and sofa looks so romantic. I wish we could just magically visit those times for an afternoon, don't you?
