New Blue Transferware for Tea Time

Welcome Dear Tea Time Friends to

"New Blue Transferware for Tea Time!"

I had been contemplating about purchasing this Ridgeway Staffordshire England transferware for three weeks from my favourite thrift store.

I really couldn't believe it would still be there yesterday.

I guess it was just meant to be mine.

It was $20 for two teacups,

 one tea plate

and the cream and sugar.

I really am a "pink" person but I can see such beauty in blue transferware.

I found this charming teapot a few months ago for $7.00.
It is Made in China.

Thank you for stopping by for

"New Blue Transferware for Tea Time!"

See you next week!
Karen

  4. Oh Karen, I love all your new blue and white! I especially adore that teapot! I so love toile anything! I think I am living on the wrong side of the country for several reasons! Beautiful roses too.

I made a big boo-boo! The lady ahead of you who left a comment on my blog, accidently left two or three comments and I went and deleted one, thinking it was hers and it was yours. I am so sorry and I didn't even get to read what you said. Silly me! I must be more careful next time. Have a lovely day and thank you for joining me for tea. How about sending us some of your warm weather. The weather has been rainy and cold here for over a week now. No beach weather to be had.

    Hugs,
    Sandi

  10. Yes, it was certainly meant to be for you and the transferware. Such a lovely set and I adore the blue and white coloring. I have the same Ridgway teacup in red, but I think it looks prettier in blue. I like how different transferware pieces complement one another so well. I would love to add more to my collection. Happy tea week and thanks for hosting!
