Clarice Cliff for Tea Time

Welcome Tea Friends!

Today I took my pics in the shade and I must apologize because they are somewhat dark.  It really is a beautiful sunny day.

I found this pretty Royal Staffordshire teacup trio entitled Charlotte Clarice Cliff at Value Village this weekend marked $5.00.  I had a 30% off coupon so it was actually just $3.50.

I love the scalloped rim on the saucer and the tea plate and it's pretty mauve tones.

The decorative pillows are also a light purple shade.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Have a Wonderful Week!
Karen

  1. Dear Karen:
You aren't alone - I have had that before too. I spend a lot of time deleting pictures. Ha!
Your little tea time looks very sweet. I think I have 1 piece of that design. I have seen it before too and it is lovely. Your wicker pieces look lovely!

  2. Karen, do you use PicMonkey? It just takes about 2 minutes to fix this kind of picture.

Do you have email? Can you write me? (If you aren't offended, I mean nothing but sincerely helpful best here.) I can show you what I did to fix a couple of them (before and after) and then you could decide if you wanted to use that pic fix free program. It's awesome.

Of course I absolutely love your teatime. What a feminine and beautiful spot for tea.

Thanks for sharing your pretty wicker and china and outdoor space with us. : - )

  3. Another great score, Karen! My transferware collections are limited to blues and some browns, but I would love to add the mauve/purple patterns.

What is that chocolate goodness that you're enjoying during your tea time???

  5. Karen, your purple hued tea is really pretty. I love the trio with its scalloped edges and I am a big fan of wicker furniture; especially white. I saw you in the window too. ;-) Thanks for inviting us to tea in that pretty setting.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  6. Picture taking is a perpetual challenge, isn't it? I love your new teacup...a favorite pattern of mine, and that color is the hardest to find! What a lovely area for tea! Gorgeous! Hope we survive the heat? Keep cool and enjoy your shady oasis! Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

  7. Karen, your lavender and wicker look nice against the color of your house. I always feel about 10 degrees cooler when I'm around white wicker! Perfect for tea outdoors.

  8. Well Karen, I love how your pictures turned out! I thought you did the soft lavender color on purpose! The colors are so soft and compliment your beautiful Clarice Cliff trio. I've always loved the Charlotte pattern, and have a few pieces in the brown transferware. Your white wicker with the pretty lavender pillows so inviting for summer! Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. I really like you Charlotte tea cup and saucer, if I was going to collect another set of dishes that would be the pattern in purple
