Tea on the Balcony

"Tea on the Balcony"
At the Castle

With the chance of a spring rain, I thought we should be safe and have "Tea on the Balcony"....

Do you like the colour mauve with a hint of mint green?

This tea plate has no markings. The shape and colour makes it so delicate and sweet.  I found the pair of plates at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver at the Retro Design and Antique Festival.

The teacups are almost identical shapes however they are from different companies.

The mint green teacup is an Aynsley.

A dainty flower is inside of the cup and on the saucer of the Royal Stafford.

The teapot is multi-coloured tones of turquoise, mauve, purple and mint green.
It is made in China.

I found the cream and sugar a few years ago at the Vancouver Flea Market.
They are marked Royal Vienna. I believe it is Bavarian.
The background is gold with flowers of purple and green.

I found the little white bonnet decorated with mint green ribbon and roses on the weekend at a Relay for Life Garage Sale in Lynden, Washington.

Even though the dishes displayed are mismatched, I love the pastel colours together.

A mauve floor chandelier is above the table.

Are you hungry yet?

How would you like some strawberry rhubarb pie with whip cream with your tea?

Thank you for having "Tea on the Balcony".
