Embracing Fall!

Hello Tea Lovers!

It's a beautiful Fall Day!

And I'm loving the near 30 degree Celsius heat!

The teacups are both Royal Albert.

I'm finally starting  to decorate for fall.

I've also been busy celebrating four  family birthdays this week and treasuring the special time with my sweet grand children.

My dear two year old grand daughter loves playing with play dough.

I tried to get a picture of her pushing a tea wagon I bought her but she ran to the play dough before I could snap one. (Maybe next time).

Last night was my son's 32nd birthday (you can see him in the background).  Hubby/Grandpa was enjoying our four month old little  grandson.

The Chinese Lanterns are popping up all over the garden.

Such  intricate orange shapes.

Are you getting ready for fall too?

See you next time!

Good-bye Summer, Hello Fall!

Hello Tea Friends

I'm a little sad to say good-bye to summer. So blue transferware may suit my mood today.

The blue and white china I am sharing today is  my mismatched collection, consisting of Johnson Brothers, Ridgeway, Spode and Sadler pieces. It seems to blend together nicely.

I love this Johnson Brothers shape of teapot.  ( I have it in red and white too).

The roses continue to bloom! Yay! :)

It's a beautiful summer-ish day at the cottage and I also love being outdoors.

This is my collection of wee, treasured creamers.
I just can't pass one by while thrifting.

Today I sadly plan to put all of my wicker and garden furniture away.  After all, it is fall.

Sweet Sis found me this large teacup planter.

A blue bird resides inside.

I found this sweet Dutch girl and boy cream and sugar for $2.00 and later ordered the matching teapot from e-bay for $4.00.

Aren't their faces dear?

I actually had seen the set at an antique store in Ferndale for $120.00.

You can see the fall chinese lanterns blooming in the background so I must embrace fall.

Are you a little sad to say Good-bye Summer?

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Fall to You All!

A Sunny September Tea Time

Welcome Tea Friends!

It's another Sunny September day! And I'm hoping there will be many more this month.

I was going to give this rose trestle away but my neighbour suggested that I keep it and paint it pink and I'm so happy I did.

I decorated the rose trestle with some watering cans and a potato masher chime that I made with one that I also planned to give away.

I painted the handle pale pink and added some vintage spoons and blue ribbon.

I keep thinking that the pink roses have finished blooming and then I am overjoyed to see more blooms.

This shell topped table is perfect for the beach cottage.

I found some nice silver pails while thrifting.  They will serve well as vintage plant holders.
.

I hope your September Days are sunny too!

Thank you for stopping by!
