A Moss Rose Tea Time

Welcome Tea Friends!

It's just starting to sprinkle so I  brought a little parasol out for you.

The wildfires are in such need of rain so I can't complain and we really have been blessed with beautiful weather this summer.

During my treasure hunting travels I have gradually  been adding to my Royal Albert Moss Rose Collection.

I found the teapot in an Antique Mall in Ferndale last year.  It was 50 percent off so how could a girl resist?

My latest find was this malvern shaped teacup at a favourite estate store in Bellingham.

I love this teacup shape and dainty rose with greenery pattern.

This is the more familiar montrose  shape.

Last weekend hubby and I, my sister-in-law and her hubby went the the Anacortes Shipwrecked Days.  I was searching for a reasonably priced ladder to display my plants.  Thankfully my SIL Stephanie spotted this sweet two step ladder. It had never been painted and I was eager to transform it and I painted it the palest of pink.  (Sorry no before pics).

A few years ago I found the circular pale pink shabby pillows at the Shipwrecked Days too.

Thank you for your visit today!

Have a Wonderful Weekend!

Baby Blue for Tea Time

Hello Sweet Tea Lovers,

Are you enjoying the summer?

I love being outside in the summer, enjoying the sunshine and watering my flowers.

Although my yard has a lot of shade I managed to find a sunny spot for our tea time.

I found this rare Royal Albert teacup with a butterfly handle at a garage sale for $5.

The baby blue  Sadler cube teapot is not a full size teapot.

Once my search began for Sadler cube teapots I began to appreciate every colour ~ not just pink.

Thank you for your visit today!

I hope you are enjoying these sunny days too!

I Found It!

Hello Dear Tea Lovers,

Do you remember me telling you that I was searching for a dreamy teapot like this one?

It is a pale pink  Sadler cube!๐Ÿ’

And I found it on Etsy a few months ago. It had only been listed 2 days. It was such luck!

But I'm scared to take it out of the china cabinet for fear that I may break it.

I have had the matching cream and sugar since I was 16 which I found at a flea market at Queen's Park Arenex.  (That's only 45 years ago - lol).

Now my teapot collection is "almost" complete.

The teacups are almost identical Shelleys except that one has a coral cup base and handle and the other one is white.

Thank you for your visit today!

I hope that you find your dream teapot too!
