A Sweet Pea and Gingham Rose Tea

Welcome Lovely Friends To
A Sweet Pea and Gingham Rose Tea

When I retired in June a kind and dear teacher friend on my staff knew about my obsession with pretty teacups and gifted me with this lovely vintage Paragon teacup from her collection.  It is called "Sweet Pea".

It is a very pretty pattern. The background is white decorated with a garland of Sweet Pea Flowers in pretty shades of blues and pinks

with green stems and leaves on the rim of both the saucer and on the exterior of the teacup.

There is a black and white design on the edges behind the one side of the flowers and both pieces are trimmed with gold gilding. The centre of the Saucer where the cup sits is very nicely decorated as well.

The second teacup I would like to feature today is also a Paragon.  It is called "Gingham Rose".

This delightful floral patterned teacup is a black, pink, yellow, and green needlepoint around the inside of the saucer and around the outside of the cup.

There is a large rose pattern inside of the saucer.  The cup and saucer is trimmed in gold around the rim of the saucer and rim of the foot and handle of the cup.

I love the shape of these Paragon Teacups.  They are so dainty and delicate.

Would you like a blueberry muffin

or perhaps an almond or cinnamon cookie to dip in your tea?

The coffee pot we are using as a teacup has no markings but I believe it could be from Bavaria.

Thank you for joining me today for
A Sweet Pea and Gingham Rose Tea!
