A Happy Easter Tea

Welcome Dear Friends to

"A Happy Easter Tea!"

I am very excited to participate in Sandi's special Easter Tea.

Today I am in the mood for rosebuds.

This dainty Elizabethan teacup which is Made in England has a lovely pedestal teacup base with a embossed centre.

It is covered  with a small pattern of sweet rosebuds and greenery.

A pretty rose bud is on the top of the inner cup.

This teacup is also an Elizabethan and Made in England.  This pattern of the flower is larger but the shapes of the cup and saucer remain the same.
Both are trimmed with rich gold gilt.

I found this coral rose decoration at the dollar store and loved it's cheery tone.

The Aynsley cream and sugar are also covered with  rosebuds.

As are the  Aynsley tea plates.

The teapot is Made in Japan.

Help yourself to some almond sponge cake with orange pekoe tea. My son's future mother-in-law made it for us today.  It is sooo delicious!

Thank you for visiting me today dear friends for

"A Happy Easter Tea!"

Wishing you and your family a Blessed Easter!
Karen

  9. My you sure have a glorious table set for tea. I guess right away that the teacups and saucers were Elizabethan. (I have some in my shop) Did you by any chance use any of the photo programs like Picassa. I lost all my pictures too in December when I got a virus and had to get a new computer. However, when I redownloaded Picassa - it brought back into my computer all the pictures.
