An End of November Tea

Hello Sweet Tea Friends!

Can you believe November is coming to an end and Christmas is quickly approaching?

I wanted to share my Royal Albert Flower of the Month Series: November Chrysanthemum; before November is over.

I hope to share all of my Royal Albert Flower of the Month Series together soon.

I must apologize for once again neglecting my blogging friends.

I really can't complain but I have had my third cold in two months and my energy level is minimal.  It's just that time of year I guess.

Making dinner for my hubby and son and whoever appears seems to be all I can accomplish lately.

This teacup, cake plate, cream and sugar that blended with the colours today are Foley's Century Rose.

The rosy toned teapot is Royal Elffeda "Cabbage Rose" Fine Bone China.

Thank you for your visit today!

I do hope that you are staying healthy!

Blessings!

Karen

Relaxing at the Cottage

Hello Dear Tea Friends

It's a lovely day to relax at the cozy cottage.

Lastnight I started bringing a few Christmas boxes from the attic and put out some of my favourite coloured balls.

I'm excited about decorating for Christmas this year because my grand daughter is a little older now and will be excited too.

Here she is, wearing a tea cozy and sitting  with her beautiful mother.
😊😊
💕

I had to share my daughter's new 12 year old  dog "Brody" which she rescued when she moved out and has become an adored member of our family.

Back to the cottage....

The turquoise teacup is an Aynsley.

The white, turquoise and gold trimmed teapot which  you have also seen before is an Ellgreave, Made in England.

It takes a lot of time to decorate the Cottage and Castle. (Your Home is your Castle).

The cream and sugar are also Aynsley.

Have you started decorating yet?

Thank you for your visit.

See you next time!
Karen

Two Gifts for Tea Time

It's a Sunny November Day!

My sweet friend Dawn gifted me with this beautiful Fenton vase this week for driving her to her doctor's appointment.  She found it at our local Salvation Army.

My son and daughter-in-law gifted me with these carnations for babysitting their wee girl and also for having them for a family dinner.  Afterwards we watched the U.S. Election together.

I just can't believe the week is nearly over and
I must apologize for neglecting to link up to tea parties this week and visiting my friend's pretty blogspots.

I've been busy....  looking after my darling grand daughter for twelve hours Tuesday  and  I can't complain but I must admit I was tired even though my daughter and hubby were there to help. I guess I don't have as much energy as I used to. Lol.

My grand daughter is very busy and while I was trying to get her down for a nap she even said to me, "Busy, busy Baby!"  She's 21 months old.

The teapot I am sharing again is a Sadler cube.  One of my favourites.  (I think all of my teapots are my favourites.)

I have had this pale pink teacup for as long as I can remember.  It was once my dear mother's.

Are you keeping busy too?

Thank you for your visit today Tea Friends!

Blessings,
Karen

A New Baby Blue Tea Set

Hello Dear Tea Friends!

I was very excited when driving down to the cottage today because a new tea set was waiting there for me.

To add to my excitement, the sun started to shine just as we pulled onto the beach drive.  I could even have had a Tea in the Garden today.

I had ordered this Sadler cube Tea Set online and even though the dimensions were given I still had hope that maybe it was bigger than it was described.

When I first got married 34 years ago everything in my kitchen then was baby blue.  Even my counter tops and cabinet knobs were this baby blue and I still favour this pretty colour!

It is not the large cube size that I had hoped for but I love it anyway!

(The wild orange flowers are blooming in the cottage garden).

I have displayed it today with some demitasse teacups to make it look larger than it is.

The first wee demitasse is unmarked.

The second one  is marked Bavaria.

I found both of these three years ago here at our little gated community Garage Sale for a dollar each.

What treasure are you searching for?

Have a Wonderful Fall Weekend!

See you next time!
 Karen
