Peppermint Square for Santa

Season's Greetings My Dear Teacup Friends!

The Traditional Victorian Pink Teacup Christmas Tree is finally up and we are formally ready to celebrate Christmas.

Along with the orphaned teacups are some favourite clear and pale pink bobbles and birdies...

And also some sparkly crystals and beads.

Instead of milk and cookies this year, Dear Santa will enjoy tea and peppermint square.

With a cup of tea in a Queen's teacup from the Rosina China Company ~ Made in England ~ just perfect for Dear Santa Claus.

A border of holly is so jolly!

I do hope that Santa likes teacups and teapots too!

What are you leaving out for Santa this year?

Tea by the Cottage Fireplace

Welcome Dear Tea Time Friends to

"Tea by the Cottage Fireplace!"

Christmas at the cottage is tones of turquoise and pink.

Last year we changed our red brick fireplace to white. Hubby (with a little help and advice from me) added some wood trim and corbels and I am loving the white colour with my Christmas decor.

The Foley teacup is one of my recent thrifting lucky finds.

I love it's pale pink colour and dainty pastel flowers.

The pink floral teapot is a one cup Arthur Wood. Also a recent happy find.

Thank you Dear Tea Friends for stopping by for

"Tea by the Cottage Fireplace!"

See you next week!

Poinsettia for Tea Time

Welcome Dear Tea Friends to

"Poinsettia for Tea Time!"

During the year I was on the search for Royal Albert Poinsettia teacups.

I had found the teapot last year at Salvation Army.

I was overjoyed to find four matching teacups during one of my thrifting excursions.

So festive for Christmas and it matches my R.A. Val D'or china  perfectly until I find some Poinsettia tea plates (hopefully).

What is your favourite Christmas china pattern?

Well, I must get baking.  It's my daughter's 22nd birthday on Tuesday and my hubby's 60th birthday celebration next Sunday.

December birthdays do make for such a busy time of year.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day and visiting me for

"Poinsettia for Tea Time!"

See you next week!
