A Burgandy Tea

Hello Sweet Friends,
Welcome to:

"A Burgandy Tea"

It is a dark and chilly day at home today.
Isn't it a  perfect day for tea by the warm fire?

Today I have chosen a deep, rich burgundy tea set.

The Shelley teacup and the tea set are Made in England and both have gold trim on the handles.

The setting is in my little family room on a "new to me" wing back chair with a matching footstool. My sister-in-law was selling it and hubby approved so it found a new home with us.

I love the floral rose print of the fabric. There are shades of pinks, burgundy, mint green and of course a touch of mauve.

Do you think these bright and colourful tones blend with the main colours of mauve and mint green in my family room?

The other teacup that I am sharing today is an Aynsley.

Would you like some green tea and a piece of strawberry cheesecake?

Thank you for joining me today for
"A Burgandy Tea."

Have a wonderful week!
Karen

  2. Hi Karen,
What a cozy fireside tea! I LOVE your new chair and ottoman! Love the florals. Your tea set is beautiful and looks lovely next to the chair. Shelley is always so pretty. I would love to join you! It's cool here today too and I'm waiting for Hubby to come home from work and we'll sit in front of our fire and sip coffee together. {He always brings coffee home after work.} Thank you for stopping by and joining me for tea today. Have a lovely week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
