Beauty in Pretty Teacups

Do you find beauty in pretty china teacups?

Today as I was taking one of my pretty saucerless teacups off of my Christmas tree

I discovered that

I did have the matching luncheon plate.

Sweet Sister had given me a Royal Albert gold trimmed saucer yesterday to match some of my lonely teacups.

Do you think the matching saucer would look more beautiful?

"There is evidence that perceptions of beauty are evolutionarily determined, that things, aspects of people and landscapes considered beautiful are typically found in situations likely to give enhanced survival of the perceiving human's genes."

I do believe that I inherited my fondness of teacups from my mother's love of them.

This rosy china pattern is a Royal Standard .  It is Made in England and is called "Festival Rose."

It is often said that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

What do you find beautiful?

Happy Pink Saturday!
