Welcome Teacup Lovers to
"A Moss Rose and Hydrangea Tea"
Today I am sharing Royal Albert's Moss Rose Teacup.
I have been fortunate to find the cream and sugar,
and three tea plates during my treasure hunting travels.
We have had a heat wave on the West Coast and I am loving it.
The hydrangeas have just started to bloom this weekend.
Hope to see you there!
I thought the umbrella would help to shade us from the sun so that we wouldn't get overly warm during our early morning tea time.
Help yourself to some refreshing fruit and if you dare ~ a chocolate cookie!
Thank you for joining me today for
"A Moss Rose and Hydrangea Tea!"
Have a fabulous summer, dear friends!
Karen

ReplyDeleteMoss Rose is a pretty pattern, I like the tiny blue flowers (forget-me-nots?) peeking out from the pink roses. I really admire the lace cap hydrangeas, they're so feminine and perfect to accompany afternoon tea in a vase.
ReplyDeleteI really like the pink lace tablecloth - beautiful!
The weather is lovely, isn't it? Love your Moss Rose. One of the oldest china patterns, and I always think the RA version is the prettiest! Love the pretty pink topper.Gorgeous tea time . Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

I do love Royal Albert but for some reason had never seen this pattern. And I love hydrangeas as well. I have a few bushes but they haven't bloomed yet.
ReplyDeleteI thought my dessert plate in Moss Rose was lovely, but OMGoodness, that tea cup!
ReplyDeleteLove all the pretty pink, complete with umbrella too! The moss rose pattern is lovely, and the fruit looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to join you for tea, Karen, in your pretty setting. Your china is so pretty and I especially love your teapot. Is that a butterfly on the top of the lid? The fruit looks so good and I don't mind if I do take a cookie!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen: Love your tea today. I own the same little white cart. Send me some wedding pictures when you get a chance. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty tea you laid there Karen! Love the linens and chair covers and your lovely china. My hydrangeas are behind schedule this year, no flowers yet. Wish I was there to join you!

Your tea table and setting are so lovely. Your mophead hydrangeas are lovely too. I find them interesting looking. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at hydrangeas--I love them! I really enjoyed seeing all the different size containers you have them going in. I'm in my second year trying hydrangeas in containers, and it is definitely a work in progress for me. Yours look so lovely! Moss Rose is a beautiful mix with your pretty flowers. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely setting! I do love your beautiful tea cup and the hyderangeas you cannot go wrong with. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, what a lovely tea! Your china is so beautiful! I've been collecting the Moss Rose tea items for years, but mine is just the cheap design made in china. Love your pretty setting for tea. I have the same tea cart and what a cute idea to use it as a flower cart. Also love your slip covered chair and umbrella!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Nancy
