A Royal Bridal Gown Tea

Welcome Teacup Lovers to:

"A Royal Bridal Gown Tea"

Two weeks ago my son was married in a fairy tale - like wedding.  The memories are so magical and and when I spotted this teacup at an estate sale yesterday in Blaine, Washington  for $5.00  and read the name of the china pattern, well; I just couldn't pass it up.

It is called "Royal Bridal Gown" Queen Anne Bone China.

I fell in love with the pink bows and baby blue pattern on the saucer and inner cup!

We stopped at another estate sale further down the road and to my amazement I found another saucer to match and thought that it would work as a little tea plate.

And now a few pics from our Royal Wedding.......

My wonderful son and hubby (and I ) just before the exciting and joyous celebration!

I am eagerly awaiting the professional photographer's pics and will share them with you when they arrive.

Don't you think Anna looks like a beautiful
princess in her  Royal Bridal Gown?

  4. Congratulations to your son and his new bride! You have a lovely family and I LOVE your dress! Beautiful roses and china, Karen. How serendipitous to find the teacup and the matching saucer in two different places! Those bows on the china remind me of Cinderella's gown. Thank you for joining me for tea and sharing your wonderful photos.

    Blessings,

  11. Oh Karen, everything is just lovely! I've never seen a tea cup set that's anything like this beautiful one! And to find a little plate/saucer at a different place that matches?? Serendipity! All the wedding photos are so pretty, too. Yours already look like the professional ones to me! My favorite is the bride bending down and holding the flower girl's hand. It is amazing!! You have a great looking family, you included, of course! :)
