Cruisin' for Collectibles before Black Friday

Welcome Treasure Hunters to

"Cruisin' for Collectibles Before Black Friday!"

Today hubby and I had a little escape to the cottage and cruised by our favourite treasure hunting spots.

Perhaps the best find was this Royal Chelsea Made in England plate for $2.99 at Goodwill.

Our God Daughter's name is Chelsea so this will be one of her wedding shower gifts when the day comes.

The gold trim is in perfect condition.

Oh yes, did I tell you that I am collecting not only teacups but teapots as well?

This teapot is unmarked.  It was $5.99 at Goodwill today.  The colours match the cottage nicely so here it will stay. Love it's shape on the base and top.  Pretty handle and lid too.
Could it be Bavarian?  Or made in Japan?

This violet pretty is Made in England.
It was a lucky find for $6.99 at Salvation Army.

I realized that I had this Hammersley teacup which is a similar pattern.

This teeny Christmas teapot was $2.49 at Second Chance.  You will likely see it again this coming December.

Teapot total spent $15.00.

These two pink teacups are made in Japan and were $1.99 each.

We also found this recipe box which was $1.89 -  less 75% off,  also at Salvation Army.

So, about 50 cents!

I do love anything with handpainted roses!

The pink candlestick was 49 cents at Second Chance. It resembles depression glass.

The Bird Christmas ball and stand were $1.49 also at Second Chance. Hubby picked it out.
.

Total spent today...

Approximately $20.00. (plus tax - on all of these items).

Hubby and I packed a lunch and didn't spend any money on food.  Aren't we thrifty?

So fortunate that Mr. Cottage likes treasure hunting too! We really did have fun!

Thank you for visiting me today for
"Cruisin' for Collectibles
before
Black Friday!"

Happy Treasure Hunting!
Karen
