Hello April!
Are you as excited as I am that Spring is here?
This weekend was such beautiful weather and I was actually able to wear my capris and put out my lawn furniture. I'm sorry.... I really should have planned Tea in the Garden today.
I hope that you don't mind that I planned an indoor tea time once again .
This Royal Albert American Beauty china was my dear mother's dinner set. When Sweet sis and I divided it I made her take the teapot because she gave me so many other treasures. And so I was on the search for an American Beauty Teapot.
This Royal Albert American Beauty china was my dear mother's dinner set. When Sweet sis and I divided it I made her take the teapot because she gave me so many other treasures. And so I was on the search for an American Beauty Teapot.
And, with the help of my good friend and dear sister I found the large teapot!
I already had found this smaller one at a thrift store.
The roses on the smaller teapot are bigger than the ones on the large teapot.
The rich pink teacups are from Royal Albert's Regal Series. They once belonged to the aunt of my good friend Jan.
My special son, Bradley gifted me with these carnations on Easter Sunday.
Don't Carnations last such a long time?
Thank you for stopping by today!
I hope that you have a Wonderful First Week of April!
Karen

Happy April! Sweet story behind your teapot. The pattern is quite lovely and I;m glad you were able to find one (or two).Your teacups complement your teapot so well. You can't go wrong with Royal Albert. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are experiencing some spring time weather. I'm also looking forward to having tea time outside.
Your pink tea is so pretty, Karen, and I do love the pop of a green teacup that you included. How nice to divide your mom's tea set between you and your sister. I'm glad that you found the teapots to match. Your flowers are so pretty, and yes, carnations give us such long lasting enjoyment.
ReplyDeleteI love the dishes! So pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love these. Where did you get the container the roses are in? I LOVE it!!!

Oh, Karen, how nice that you found the teapot! American Beauty is one of my favourite patterns but I have only one saucer. Your teacups look so pretty with it all. Your table is just so very lovely and it makes me swoon. This is one of my favourite posts, Karen! Pink just whispers springtime, doesn't it? I missed you last week but so glad you could join me this week. Have a beautiful week, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Your beautiful tea set is just what I need to distract me from our wintry weather. Brrr! While you're enjoying capri weather, we're enjoying spring snow and frigid temperatures here. Thanks, Polar Vortex!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blushingly beautiful post Karen! That's one of my favorite patterns. And the teacups go with it beautifully! I've pinned your teacups stack! Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Dear Karen:
ReplyDeleteI am just getting here to comment because my week has been crazy. I will be featuring this post tomorrow on my blog. I have not seen the American beauty teapot and these are wonderful. I did see a coffee pot right before we left Colorado but didn't buy it as I am holding out for a teapot. Your table vignette is lovely Karen. Thanks for sharing and linking.
