Cruisin' For Collectibiles #6

Hello Dear Friends,

Hubby and I didn't have to go too far today to find collectibles.  Our secured community at the cottage had its yearly yard sale.

I guess in was in a demitasse mood.  I found these pretties at two different vendors.

Total spent: $21.00.  The large plate was $2.00 as was each little cup and saucer.  The plate is marked " H & M Tsolder".  I loved the gold trim with the pink roses.

The wee German plate was $1.00

and the Christmas tree teeny teacup ornament was 50 cents.

This bird cage was marked $10 but I got it for $8.  No, the bird isn't real.

I may paint the bird cage white, remove the cardinal and add a plant.

I think I will have a "Tiny Tea Party" soon with the darling demitasses.

Stay tuned....

Thank you for visiting!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Take care,
Karen

  2. Hi Karen,
What fun finds and so close to home! They are all so pretty. Now tell me about demitasses. They are small teacups, correct? So why are they so small? Are they used for anything else?
Thanks and have a great week!

  3. I love all your new treasures Karen! I loving doing the same thing too! Some people just collect demitasse sized cups and saucers and they are in great demand! These are all darling. (Some were originally for very strong coffee.)
