A Mint Spring Tea

Welcome Sweet Teacup Lovers to

 "A Mint Spring Tea"!

I was hoping for sunshine today but I am grateful for no rain at the moment.

Today I am sharing some 'new to me' china pieces.

This rich and elegant vintage Aynsley teacup is the most beautiful shade of green ~ almost turquoise. I found it at Salvation Army for $9.99 (in Port Coquitlam).

I had been looking at it for a few days and finally gave in.  I really don't have willpower when it comes to pretty teacups.  Lol.  I did fall in love with the pink roses on the inner cup and on the saucer.

Last weekend Hubby went with my younger son to the Antique Fair at Queens Park in New Westminster.

He knew that I have been searching for some green depression glass and bought me this cream and sugar for $15.00.

I unfortunately was unable to go with him because of our Secret Garden Tea.

Don't you think Hubby's a keeper?

When we were together treasure hunting we found these depresssion glass tea plates at a Garage Sale in Bellingham a few weeks ago.  They were $3.00 each.  I bought all four.

Oh yes, the wee gold spoons I was amazed to find  5 for 49 cents at my favourite Thrift Store - Second Chance in Lynden, Washington!

I thought the gold would match nicely with all of my gold trimmed teacups.

The Sadler teapot

and Aynsley teacup you have seen before.

My dear and generous friend gave me the roses  after I drove her to a specialist appointment.

Love, Love, Love, Roses!!

Would you like some store bought cream cheese cinnamon buns with your cup of peppermint tea?

Don't you love to relax with your favourite magazine and have a hot cup of tea?

Hoping that we can share tea in the garden soon.

Thank you for visiting me today for
"A Mint Spring Tea".

Have a "mint" week!
