Welcome Friends
to
"A Rosebud Tea"!
Today I am sharing a rosebud Aynsley teacup that I found on Saturday at Salvation Army.
The tiny delicate rosebuds are on a mint green background.
You see, I just had to get it because it matched my other Aynsley.
(Excuses, excuses)
It was $4.99.
I love the rosebuds on the inner cups.
As I am setting up our teatime Hubby says," Hurry, it's going to rain!'
Speaking of rain, yesterday my daughter and I had a Bridal Shower for Anna (my soon to be daughter - in - law).
We planned to have an outdoor garden party Bridal Shower but the weather did not cooperate so we celebrated indoors!
The treats are left overs from the shower. Don't you love leftover sweets?
I must acknowledge Kitty at Kitty's Kozy Kitchen for sharing her Raspberry Crumble recipe. My daughter and I had such fun making it together. Thank you Kitty! They really are delicious and not too sweet.
You can find her recipe here

Some pics from the Bridal Shower:
Well, it's not raining yet!

ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous Aynsley teacups and china! I just love the tiny rosebuds and at $4.99 you got yourself a real deal! The sweets look pretty on that lovely plate.
It's been rainy and cold here for days and I can't wait for the end of the week when it is supposed to warm up. Thank you for sharing your lovely post at Tea Time and enjoy your week, Karen.
Blessings,
Sandi

ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy tea you have setup there! Love the china you paired with the rose buds! Sending good weather wishes for 6/22!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, this is my first visit to your blog. I've come for tea...but I've also found beauty here. What an incredibly beautiful blog background you have.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe you tracked down such a beautiful teacup at the Salvation Army. I never seem to find that kind of luck at thrift stores.
Pink, green, and white is my favorite color combination, so I am drooling over your showings today.
Congratulations on the upcoming wedding. How lovely to be gaining a daughter.
Blessings,
Patti
Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous teacup you found at the Salvation Army. I would've bought it, too!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the raspberry crumble bars and thank you for the shout out. That was so sweet of you. I know you're excited about the upcoming wedding. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful pics of everyone. xo
I love the minty rose bud tea cup especially, but the whole tea time is delightful. And a bridal shower with a wedding next month, you are having some sweet tea-time fun for all the best reasons !
ReplyDeleteThe bridal shower looks wonderful! Your rosebud tea is terrific! The pattern is lovely and is so pretty framed by your potted roses.

ReplyDeleteI don't know where my comment flew off to but I was just saying congratulations on being featured in Romantic Homes. That's wonderful!
