A Coral Tea by the Settee

Welcome Friends to

"A Coral Tea by the Settee"

My kind and dear friend gifted me with these rich coral roses on the weekend.  They are the exact colour of the bridesmaid's dresses for my son's wedding.

Do you like coral with gold accents?

The teapot and cream and sugar are Sadler.

The teacup that I have chosen today is the palest of coral with a large creamy white
rose with silver leaves on the inner cup and on the saucer.

The pics make it look almost a mauve.

It is an elegant Aynsley.

I do appreciate your company for tea today!

Happy June!

See you soon!

  1. Just gorgeous! I love those fabulous dishes, the rose center is so beautiful.

  2. Yes, I have always loved coral. I had peaches, corals, and blues in my home for years until I decided I needed a change. The blue of course was because I was surrounded my men; four to be exact. Now that it's just Hubby and me I am using a different colour palette. I LOVE your teacup. It is simply gorgeous and the Sadler tea set is beautiful too. Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea.

  3. what a beautiful tea service and the teacup is so sweet. Those coral roses are gorgeous!

  4. What a gorgeous tea service. The rose in the center of the dish is fantastic. The coral roses are wonderful

  5. A pretty sitting area for a couple of friends and using your regal looking tea set.

  6. Oh how beautiful you have everything displayed by that gorgeous sofa! That is a lovely cup and saucer too! Each piece there in your vignette is delightful!

  7. Gorgeous! The Sadler pieces are stunning and it's hard to beat an Aynsley teacup -- so elegant. Gorgeous roses. Happy Tea Day!

  8. Beautiful! You have set such a lovely scene with your coral and gold! The tea pot and pieces are fab vintage, and I love those roses your friend gifted you. The tea cup is stunning! It all looks so wonderful in your beautiful home.
Aynsley is such a fine company for tea cups too.

  9. Gorgeous Karen. I love the Sadler teaset and the pretty teacup. What a lovely color for the roses and what a thoughtful gift. That is such an elegant tea. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

  10. Hi Karen: Your home looks amazing! Not sure what you have done, but it looks so elegant. Love the tea pot with all that gold. That is the most beautiful Sadler I have ever seen. While I stop to wipe the drool, I want you to know that I am still praying for you and hope these next few wild days are just delightful for you and your family. Your new daughter in law is so lucky to have a new "Mother in Love" like you. Sending hugs your way. Martha
