Happy Summer Tea Friends and
Welcome to a Sunny Summertime Tea!
It's been the warmest summer that I can remember for some time.
Watering restrictions are in effect so the grass is not lush.
But it is never too warm for our tea time together, is it?
Today I wanted to share some simple but classic and pretty teacup finds.
A dainty rose lies on the front of this cup and little pinkish shamrocks surround the inner teacup rim and saucer trim.
The other classic teacup is similar in shape and has petite rosebuds all over the cup and saucer.
Don't you think that Johnson Brother's Rose Bouquet is such a feminine pattern?
I found this pink ruffled apron at Value Village.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day and visiting me for
A Sunny Summertime Tea!
See you next week

ReplyDeleteI like every single thing about your teatime. Your white wicker shouts out summer in true old fashioned style - your red and white china is beautiful - love your pretty zinnias, your whitestone pitcher, your pink ruffled apron)
ReplyDeleteI would very much enjoy sitting with you sipping tea - but only if I bring one of my pretty parasols, I am not a fan of sun on my face! Too hot, too bright and too damaging for this very fair Irish lass!)
Have a wonderful and blessed day!
Oh what a beautiful teatime Karen! I like that lacy metal planter and the Rose Bouquet pattern is wonderful, the rose inside the cup looks like the rose on the JB Rose Chintz pattern. The pink apron is cute too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
Gina
I want it all at my home!!
ReplyDeleteLove the 2 pink cups and saucers and all the pink on the wicker. Just can't have 2 much PINK for me.

Such a pretty summer tea! I love your white wicker and transferware! What a cute idea with the mirror!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, oh my, you've shared two gorgeous teacups today, but I'm particularly smitten with the one with the tiny shamrocks (maybe because I'm Irish?!). Both of them blend so well together and with your other tea pieces. Happy Tea Day to you in your sunny outdoors!
ReplyDeleteHello Karen!
ReplyDeleteEverything is gorgeous and heartwarming, and I love how everything blends together so nicely. :)
Your pink transferware is so wonderful. Your outdoors sunny spot looks so inviting! I love it all. Thank you so much for sharing at my blog party!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day, Karen! You always find the cutest teacups!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the beautiful red transfer ware. I have a couple small plates in the Rose Bouquet pattern; I love it. And I got started with all my china collecting with inheriting my grandmother's Crown Ducal Bristol china! I don't have the coffee pot, though. Everything looks so pretty together Karen. And I love the linens, too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful summertime tea. I'm visiting from Tea in the Garden.
ReplyDeleteOh your tea in the garden is gorgeous! So delightful. I am sure anyone partaking in that would instantly feel like a sweet lady. It's a wonderful site!
ReplyDeleteLove, love your teacups and pot. The first one with the single rose, I have never seen. What a sweet thing!
