Hello Sweet Tea Friends
Do you have a favourite teacup in your collection?
Today I would like to share two of my favourites .
The first is Royal Albert's elegant "Serena."
Another beautiful favourite is Royal Albert's "Lady Carlyle."
Mmmmm! Pink!
Today's pretty teapot is Royal Albert's "American Beauty."
The cream and sugar are also Lady Carlyle.
What is the name of a favourite teacup
in your china collection?
Have a Wonderful Week Dear Tea Friends!

Dear Karen:
ReplyDeleteThat's the first time I have seen an American Beauty teapot. I did see a coffee pot recently. I think Serena is absolutely wonderful and love all your pieces. The table setting is really lovely with this collection of favorites! I hope you have a lovely week. My hubby is currently painting high up on a ladder - 17 ft ceiling at one end of the den. He already did the living room. We will miss our cathedral ceilings but not painting them.
Oh how I love that PINK. I don't have a collection but it would be very much PINK if I did. HA!!

Gorgeous! I can see why Serena and Lady Carlyle are your favourites. Picking a favourite in my collection would be akin to Sophie's Choice. Ha! A few years ago, I saw a Lady Carlyle teapot online for only $20 (maybe it was priced low because it wasn't Made in England?). Of course, now I regret not getting it!
ReplyDeleteThose are such lovely tea cups. The lamp you have caught my eye. I have a friend who makes lampshades like yours!
ReplyDeleteOh, Karen, I do love both Serena and Lady Carlyle and I am happy to have both in my collection. I love your American Beauty teapot! I love that pattern and wish I could find even the teacup, I'd be happy! Your setting is really pretty and thank you for sharing it with us. Can't go wrong with pink or Royal Albert. Have a beautiful day, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
I love your pink tea cups! Their roses patterns are such pretty and delicate. Your setting is very romantic as usual.

Just a note to tell you all your china is awesome. You have some very lovely beautiful things. Thanks for sharing (I don't have a blog) I hope some day.
ReplyDeleteI love both of your favorites, dear Karen. I'm not sure if I have a favorite, because I like different ones for different seasons. I enjoy bringing them out like seeing old friends!
