Welcome Teacup Lovers!
Are you counting down the days until spring?
I found these tiny daffodils blooming in the back garden and just had to cut a few to enjoy indoors.
They made me think that spring may be on its way.
I decided to bring out my spring-ish daffodil teacups to match. (Maybe they will be good luck and bring on spring a little early).
The first day of spring is March 20th. Approximately 3 weeks away.
The Daffodil Teapot is a Sadler.
Thank you for stopping by!
Are you eager for Spring too?
See you next week!
Karen

Dear Karen:
ReplyDeleteThe picture with the stack of teacups is wonderful! This post just screams spring, spring, spring! Bring it on! I love the daffodil theme here and it should make everyone happy!
Oh what a sunny tea - just lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, your teacups are absolutely stunning! I especially like that daffodil one, so elegant!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Gina
Oh, how beautiful! Yes, I too love the photo with the stack of teacups. Gorgeous! Yes, I am eager for spring, but there will be no daffodils here in our area for awhile yet. The ones on your teacups and teapot -- not to mention the mini daffodils from your back garden -- will have to be enough for me, for now!
ReplyDeleteKaren, your stack of teacups is so pretty and I love your Sadler teapot! You know I am counting down the days. How lovely to have daffodils in the garden already! I really enjoyed your post and thanks for sharing with us. Happy Leap Day, my Canadian friend! I'm sure you will enjoy the movie, Leap Year!

Sandi
You always have the prettiest teacups and teapots to share, Karen. My favorite today is the Shelley Daffodil Time. I'd love to sit with you and have some of that dessert and a cup of tea at your pretty table. We could talk about all your pretty dishes that you have, while I admire them.
ReplyDeleteSpring can't come fast enough for me! Alas, winter won't leave without a fight and we're expecting 15-20 cm of snow tomorrow. Boo! Your yellow teawares brightened up my day. Happy Leap Tea Day, Karen!
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely perfect for a spring tea party!
ReplyDeleteI love your yellow tea cups! They are such adorable. I like the touches of yellow, they are perfect for your romantic spring tea time.

You have such a wonderful collection of yellow teaware and ones with daffodil designs-those are not too easy to find. Being a Shelley lover, I adore the scene on the Daffodil Time teacup. My daffodils bloomed so early this year and sadly all have almost withered away. I was hoping they would bloom around Easter. They truly perk up a garden. Happy Tea Time!
ReplyDeleteAll of that yellow is a feast for the eyes, especially that wonderful stack at the end! Spring is near! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is lovely. I didn't used to like the color yellow, but I do now. Your daffodils are just wonderful. I have never seen so many lovely examples. Sooo pretty.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such unique and beautiful flowers...........and I love all your beautiful daffodil teapots and tea cups. Know wonder you are excited for Spring. They will make
ReplyDeletefor a lovely tea party.
