April Showers

Hello Sweet Tea Friends

The sun is shining today!  Hurray!

It's been raining so much on the West Coast for the last month and the sunshine is such a welcome sight!

Every Easter Time I bring out my little Easter tree.  My wee grand daughter hasn't been over for some time and I am anxious for her to see my Easter decor.  Hopefully they will come for Easter dinner.

They teacups today are both Aynsley.

The teapot is..... you guessed it,
A Sadler.

I am so anxious to see my cherry blossom tree in bloom and my roses.  It's been a long winter.

I bought the Sadler cream and sugar when I was 16 at a flea market in New Westminster.  That's only 45 years ago.  Lol.  I have always fancied Sadler china!

Love this little teacup spoon.

I brought in the primroses from my front step.
So cheery on some dreary days.
(A January birthday gift from Sweet Sis)

I hope the sun will stay out a little longer but as I type the sky is starting to darken once again.

Oh well,

  3. I'm sure your granddaughter will love your cute Easter tree. I saw the mint green Aynsley teacup at a thrift store last year. As usual, I hemmed and hawed and ended up leaving it behind. Now I wished that I brought it home with me. When will I ever learn? Hee!

  5. Happy Pink Saturday, Karen. I'm so glad you joined us. Thank you for making Pink Saturday special.

Your tea table looks so pretty and inviting. And, your primroses are beautiful. We have lots of color here now because of the azaleas, but they are beginning to fade. Our roses have leafed, so we still have several weeks before blooms.
