Welcome Sweet Tea Friends to:
"A Tasha Tudor Tea Time"
Bernideen is having a special Tea in the Garden today to celebrate Tasha Tudor's 102nd Birthday and I wanted to join in the fun.

I have only owned one Tasha Tudor book which is called A is for Annabelle. I had it in my kindergarten class because it is an alphabet book. Since I retired my collections are stacked in boxes and I was unable to locate it.

This is what the book looked like.
So today I have tried to create a tea party appropriate for a little girl and her dolls to remember Tasha Tudor.
I have chosen two favourite demitasse teacups ~ just the perfect size for a little girl. (I wish my grand daughter was her to play with me).
This demitasse is a Tuscan DuBarry Rose.
This wee one is Spode's Billingsley Rose.
I love the little faces on this vintage teapot.
The teapot is a miniature Sadler cube.
Little girls love to dress up so on the bush is a pretty white frock and sparkly crown.
A vintage purse and pearls is needed for dress up too.
The flowers were for our 35th Wedding Anniversary ~ a gift from my son and dear daughter-in-law. Thank you Bradley and Anna!
Thank you too for stopping by today for a tea time tribute to Tasha Tudor.
See you next time!
Karen

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tea time! I was going to bring out some of my dolls too but I went in a totally different direction. Love the teacups and the little frock hanging on the bush with the tiara; sweet touch! You have a lovely garden. Enjoy this last week of August!
Blessings,
Sandi
