Happy New Year Sweet Tea Friends!
Long time no blog (see)! Lol!
(an English expression used as a greeting)
Can you ever say no to a beautiful teapot?
I can't!
I made an offer on ebay for this pretty pink and gold Sadler and my offer of $14.99 was accepted!
When the teapot arrived this week I was amazed! It is the shiniest and brightest teapot I have. I really didn't think it would be so perfect.
This is the other paler pink Sadler with roses that I bid on before Christmas. It was even less expensive than the other one. (Unfortunately, the postage is sometimes more than the pot!)
Happy Times and Finds!
I hope that you have made your New Year's Resolutions. Hmmm! I think mine should be to become organized and possibly part with things that I don't need. (Like teapots and teacups) ~ Hee hee!
Hubby and I also want to lose some weight. Uh oh! Maybe that means less tea and cookies.
What are your New Year Resolutions?
Both teacups today were once my sweet mothers and are Aynsleys. One has a pale pink inner cup and base,
the other is a turquoise blue.
Thank you for your visit today!
Wishing you all the best in 2018!
Karen

ReplyDeleteDear Karen: Happy New Year! I love your 2 new teapots and for me, especially the one with the Roses and the other is wonderful fun too! Your suggestions for the new year are some we "talk about" daily. Loosing weight - ah yes! The trouble is baking for me. Your table looks so lovely.
ReplyDeleteBoth your new teapots are so pretty and the price wonderful! Your pink is always so pretty and your mom’s teacups so special!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year,
Hugs,
Nancy
Oh my, all that PINK! Be still my heart! Haha!! Beautiful!!

I never find pretty teapots at our local thrift stores. You are lucky!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Karen! Your gorgeous teapots are a great way to kick off 2018. I've never ordered teawares online as I always found the shipping costs prohibitive. Downsizing my teaware collection is also one of my 2018 resolutions. Once again, I'm on a shopping ban for teas and teacups or teapots. It's Day 7...we'll see how long I'll last. Heh.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year! Your collection is absolutely fairy

So pretty in pink!
ReplyDeleteThese pink teapots are simply gorgeous, I can see why you couldn't pass them up! Yes, shopping online for breakable items makes shipping terribly expensive! How wonderful that you have such a pretty pink collection to sip tea from :) Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteWow! Beauties all of them!
ReplyDeleteNo New Year Resolution, but an everlasting project to give away/sell/throw redundant things. And to organize the rest!
