Decorating for February!

Happy February Sweet Tea Friends!

Do you ever enjoy re-decorating for each month of the year?
I was having fun finding new places for  pictures, furniture,  lamps and of course some china.

In the dining room, I decided on pretty pink rosebuds for display on the sideboard for the month of February.

I recently found this rosebud Sadler round cube at a very good price.

Hooray!!! The sun came out suddenly today  and so I quickly snapped a  few sunny pics.

The photograph is of my darling grand daughter.  It was a treasured gift from my son and daughter-in-law.  She just turned 3 this week.❤

The lamps and sideboard were once my mother's.

The teacup is one of my few Made in Japan.

My sweet sis gifted me with the Royal Albert Pansy Chintz trio plus the luncheon plate for my birthday in January.  She previously  gave me the cream and sugar.  My lovely sister has an absolutely amazing collection of china and she is so very generous!(The carnations were from Mr. Cottage/Castle for my bday).

I love decorating my kitchen window ledge each month. (Perhaps like I used to change the monthly calendar when I taught kindergarten).  Lol

Royal Albert's Sweet Violets blends nicely with the February Month of the Year teacup.

Even the tea wagon is enjoying some sunlight at the moment.

.

Two Sadler favourites have found a new home for the month. (The small mint green is a Royal Winton).

I hope you see the sunshine this week too!

Have a Wonderful Week!
Blessings!
Karen

  3. OMG ..You shared so many pretty teatime beauties... Your Sadler teapot is so delicate and feminine... and I so enjoyed viewing all your lovely pieces especially the Royal Albert ‘ Violets ‘ sets ..It’s one of my favourites and I don’t have a single piece of it... but surely do admire it from childhood days(ha ha) ... and I’m not saying how long ago that was!!! Antique furniture and china really thrill me , especially with the addition of antique linens... I truly enjoyed your teatime post...Thanks for sharing !!!

  4. Karen, I especially like the rosebud teapots. And you have a pattern I've never seen before - pansy chintz. I guess I haven't 'seen it all' after all!
