Globe Shaped Sadler Cubes

Hello Dear Tea Friends!

I've missed you all.

I wanted to share my recent passion for collecting Round Sadler Cube Teapots.

I'm not really sure why they are called cubes.

Do you see beauty in them as I do?

They are very hard to find and I have been recently searching for a pink one without any luck.
My sister has a gorgeous turquoise one.

Do you prefer the regular Sadler cube shape?

The treasure hunt continues.

Thank you for stopping by!

See you next time!

A Cozy Tea Time

Happy Summer Dear Tea Friends!

It's been a busy week with company from Denmark. We went sightseeing and had lots of large family gatherings and dinners together.

So I found a cozy corner to have a relaxing tea time and share my newest finds with you.

We did have a lovely time with my husband's family.  His sweet cousin Jette and her dear granddaughter Sarah.

Since we hadn't been out thrifting for some time we decided to look for treasures yesterday. And I was overjoyed to find this pink beauty at Goodwill for $3.99. It's a Royal Stafford.

My other lucky find, also at Goodwill is a Royal Albert which I have never seen before.  I thought I knew all of the R.A. patterns.  It's called Bristol.

I also found another pink rosebud Sadler at Red Lion Antiques in Mount Vernon.  It isn't perfect but for $19.95 I couldn't resist.

It is missing some gold on the base and also has a chip under the lid.  Not visible in the photos.

Our tea time is located behind some shrubs near the front window at the cottage.  Unfortunately my pics were blurry.  So sorry.

I hope that you can find a cozy and relaxing place to enjoy your tea today!

Blessings!

Tea Time or Tee Time?

Hello Dear Tea Friends

Hubby has been wanting me to get active and golf daily this summer at the cottage and consequently  my tea times are not as frequent now.

The pink roses and pink impatienz are loving the warm weather and so am I!

The Tuscan teacup is the palest of pink.

The hot pink teacup is a Crown Staffordshire.

The fur baby is my son and daughter-in-law's pomeranian.  Her name is Minnie.  She is with nana and grandpa for 3 weeks while they travel with my grandchildren to Indonesia.

Isn't she dear?

Thank you for stopping by today!
I hope you are enjoying the summer weather too!

Blessings!

More Peonies for Tea Time

Hello Sweet Tea Friends

I wanted to share more peonies with you today.

These are a deeper pink than those from the cottage garden.

Isn't the Sadler cube a vibrant blue?

We've had wonderful heat for the past couple of days.  It's so lovely to be outside and I feel like summer has arrived early!

The pale pink and blue teacups are both Foley.

I hope that the sun is shining at your house too.

Thank you for stopping by today!

See you next time!
