Hot Pink for Spring!

Hello Sweet Tea Friends!

I hope you are staying safe and well amidst our pandemic times.

I've been keeping busy planting flowers and hubby has been rebuilding our backyard fence.

My hot pink roses are just starting to bloom. 

I've decided to add a lot of bright pink cheery flowers to the garden this year. 

Every time it rains I rush outside to bring in my petunias.

The hot pink rhododendrons are now in full bloom. 

I'm enjoying them inside as well! 

My dear daughter and her boyfriend bought me these gorgeous yellow tulips for Mother's Day. ❤

My daughter is going to university to become a teacher but also works at Costco.

My dear son bought me this lovely Mom plant.

He is also an essential worker - a very busy produce manager at a local grocery franchise.

Old English Rose for Tea Time

Happy February Dear Tea Friends!

The sun is shining brightly and I have set the dining room table for our tea time today with Royal Albert's Old English Rose china pattern,

My dear mother had this tea set and my sweet sis inherited her teapot when we divided mom's treasures.  I was so fortunate to find this teapot for $25 at a Goodwill a few years ago so that I had one too❣

Unlike my Sadler cube collection, I use this Old English Rose teapot.  I am searching for the matching trivet and hope that someday I will find one.  (I've used a gold trimmed plate for now).

I love the rich tones of pink with the gorgeous gold rim.

Primroses make me feel like spring is coming.

January is quickly coming to an end and I wanted to share some favourite January teacups and my birthday flower bouquets.

The mint green teapots are both Sadlers.❤

I made these Unicorn Confetti Cake Cones as my Birthday cake. It was such fun and my darling grandkiddies loved it!

I have had this orphaned teacup for a few years but had never been fortunate to find the matching saucer in my thrifty travels and searches.

I decided to order the matching saucer from e-bay as a Christmas present to myself. I love it!💝

It is a Royal Standard in the pattern Festival Rose.

I thought that it was a close match for my favourite rosy pink Sadler Cube teapot.

I do hope that you are able to take time away from your busy schedule  for a cup of tea today!

A Victorian Christmas Tree

I'm getting ready for Christmas and once again have added some orphaned teacups to my pink tree.

Decorating has made me ready for our tea time.

I managed to find a pretty pink poinsettia.💖
