A Friendship and Daffodil Tea

Welcome Sweet Friends to
"A Friendship and Daffodil Tea!"

I am so fortunate to have friends like you to join me for tea today.

Isn't sunny yellow such a cheerful colour to celebrate our upcoming spring month of April?

Our tea today is named after this Royal Albert lovely teacup~
 "Friendship Daffodil."

I love it's elegant shape and the detailed pattern of dainty daffodils.

Sweet Sister gifted me with this gorgeous cup and saucer!

I have also chosen a plain yellow Grafton teacup to blend with our spring daffodil theme today.

Of course there's a touch of a pretty pink rose on the inner cup.

I must tell you that yellow doilies, pillows and accents were few and far between in my pink toned home.

Oh good, an excuse to go thrifting!

Help yourself to a bought bakery treat.

Thank you friends for joining me today for a
"Friendship and Daffodil Tea!"

Happy Springtime!
Karen

Matching Orphaned Rosy Cups and Saucers

Welcome Sweet Friends to

"Matching Orphaned Rosy Cups and Saucers"!

Today I am once again in the mood for pink and thought it would be fun to match some favourite orphaned cups and saucers.

Only one of the teacups has a matching saucer.

The first set has a coalport teacup and

an Aynsley saucer.

I love the inner cup of the coalport .

The second orphaned set I have put together is an

Adderley teacup

 and a Royal Grafton saucer.

Bountiful gold gilt on the saucer accents the pretty pink background.

I love the large rose and rosebud.

The only matched cup and saucer that I'm sharing today is a treasure that always sits so proudly in the china cabinet.

 It is an Aynsley.

The new to me Sadler tea set was a recent purchase from Value Village.  Did you know if you fill your Value Village card with stamps that you get 30% off?  So the tea set was actually $24.99 with my discount.  I don't receive the pensioners discount yet.  Don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

I fell in love with the teapot shape and of course the pale pink roses.

Thank you for visiting

"Matching Orphaned Rosy Cups and Saucers!"

Have a wonderful week!
Karen

Pretty Pink Baking Tools

Pretty Pink Baking Tools

I have had my yellow Tupperware measuring cups and spoons for about 40 years.   Could this be possible?

Perhaps they do look a little worn but they really have lasted well! Do you think it's time to replace them? Baking  should be fun and pretty right?

It was time for a change and so I looked on e-bay for something pink.

These Tupperware baking cups and spoons were $28 on e-bay.
Am I being extravagant ladies?

I did search everywhere for pink measuring cups/spoons and found many much less expensive but they didn't have 6 cups or spoons.

The pink mixing bowls and large measuring cup I did manage to find at Thrift Stores. They stack so nicely and fit in the drawer perfectly.

The worst thing about baking is the washing up afterward but if I use my pretty pink tea towels won't it be more fun?

Washing in my new pink washbasin is fun too!

Now..... what shall I bake?

Have a wonderful weekend ladies!

Today I will be joining Beverly for Pink Saturday!
