Pink and Silver for Tea Time

Hello Sweet Tea Friends

Welcome to

"Pink and Silver for Tea Time!"

Have you noticed how most pretty teacups and teapots are trimmed with gold?

Well, I was very fortunate to find a pretty pale pink teacup trimmed with silver on the weekend at a little antique store in Lynden, Wa.

Do you think it matches my silver trimmed Sadler teapot?

It has some dainty grains of silver wheat on the inner cup.

I love the cup's footed base and silver handle.

Do you have any teacups with silver trim?

Chantilly is one of Royal Albert's few patterns that has silver and not gold (Val d'or is the gold version).

What a surprise!  Some of my miniature pink roses have started to bloom for the second time this summer!

Thank you for visiting me for

A Pink and Silver Tea Time!

See you in a week!

Karen

  6. Oh Karen, what a romantic tea you've shared today. Your new teacup looks beautiful with your Sadler teapot, which I'm sighing over!!! I also love your pretty candelabra on your table, and your sweet roses.

  7. This is the most feminine setting for tea! I love the pink and silver combination. The Sadler teapot is just gorgeous with the sweet flowers. Your graceful chair would be fun place to sit and sip tea and have a sweet. Hope you will take a peek of my post this week!
    Have a wonderful week!

  8. Just gorgeous! By the way, silver trim on china isn't silver, it's really platinum! That's the element in it that makes it silver color. Isn't that neat? I love your gorgeous teapot...Sadler made the best! And your tea setting is so elegant! I can certainly see tea gowns and candlelight as well as your lovely garden. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

  10. Love your soft pink and silver setting, Karen. Soft pink is so very elegant, isn't it? And the green rosette cushion is gorgeous! Sorry I'm late visiting. I have been away all day and just got home about an hour ago. Thank you for joining me for Tea Time today and have a lovely week. My son tells me that Port Coquitlam is next door to where he lives; Pitt Meadows. If we ever get out there again, we will have to make sure we try to meet up.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  15. Hello Karen, I am happy to be stopping by for tea with you today : )
Your new silver and pink tea cup is pink vintage perfection! I love the motif inside the cup. It has a dear vintage feel as does your Sadler, so I think they sit together well.
You have set up such an elegant table, that must have been delightful to sip at.
    Hugs,
    Terri
