Hello Tea Lovers!
Last year on my birthday, my daughter-in-law's mother gifted me with a Royal Albert Happy Birthday teacup.
Thank you Lanny, I love it!
Thank you Lanny, I love it!
I had never seen one before.
I had seen Happy Anniversary cups and saucers but never a Happy Birthday.
It's gold trim matches so perfectly with my
Royal Albert Val D'or teapot.

I think I will enjoy a quiet cup of tea in it on my birthday this weekend.
Have you ever seen a Happy Birthday teacup?
Have a Wonderful Weekend Tea Friends!
See you next time!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Karen! Your in-laws picked the perfect gift for you! This is the first time that I've ever seen a birthday teacup, and will now keep my eyes peeled for one (as well as the January teacups). Hope you're spoiled on your special day!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever seeing one, only the individual months. I have the Royal Albert April one with pretty Sweet Peas for my birthday. Happy Birthday to you!!!
ReplyDeleteYour teacup is beautiful! Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteAnd it goes perfectly with that gorgeous teapot!!!!
Have a wonderful birthday weekend!!
Dear Karen:
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of an "Angel" tea with that pretty figurine and the white and gold items. I am glad you were able to link. My post today was all about what happened and my blog was blocked for 48 hours because I forgot to renew my domain name. Thanks for coming back!
Happy Birthday Karen! What a beautiful teacup and no, I don't think I have seen a Happy Birthday set either. I checked out your previous post too and I LOVE your turquoise teacups! They are really beautiful! I have been away from blogging for a couple of weeks but I'm back now. Hope you're having a nice week.
ReplyDeleteWinter blessings,
Sandi
Happy Belated Birthday wishes, Karen! Your teacup is a beauty that your DIL gifted you. It's perfect with your teapot and your darling angel.
ReplyDeleteYour previous post with those gorgeous turquoise teacups, with your pretty setting is so dreamy and romantic!
Oops...I went to take a peek at the teacup again, and realize that I read that wrong, and it was your DIL's mom who gifted you that pretty teacup. How thoughtful of her!
