Pink For A Hot Summer Eclipse Day

Hello Dear Tea Friends!

It's a very hot summer day today!
As Bernideen noticed from my dark pics, I took these on the the day of the eclipse.

The china teacup and cream and sugar are Royal Albert's Bridesmaid Rose.

And you know this is one of my favourite pink teapots  ~ a Sadler cube.

The tea plates are Royal Albert's Serena.

Isn't it fun to mix and match pink rosy china?

I had to search the garden shops for this pretty shade of pale pink petunias.

I must apologize because
my grass is very burnt from our scorching summer days, water restrictions and our absence due to

weekly visits to the cottage.

I hope that you are managing to stay cool.

Thank you for your visit today!

See you next time!
Karen

Love your table setting and Serena is always so lovely. Your pink Sadler is a delight. Thanks for sharing and I hope you can find the book! Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you Bernideen,
I added the Eclipse to my posting now. You are so observant ~ I did take the pics on the day of the Eclipse. Your title would have been much better!

  7. How very charming all around!! I DO love pink. In the thumbnail, I mistook your lovely cushion for a beautifully-crocheted tea cozy! Wishful thinking---I'd love to have one.

  14. Such a pretty blushing pink teatime! Perfect for you! I have always loved that pattern, but not seen often now. Your wicker and pink petunias make a perfect setting! Wonderful! I apologize for being late visiting! The last few weeks have been a whirl with birthday, sinus problems, friends visiting and then a smoke escape with a last minute cruise…only to return to more smoke…causing a sinus infection! Oh well…but I am almost up to speed…yay!
Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
