For Pink Saturday I wanted to share a favourite pink lamp.
I have had it for many years. I found the pink base at a little thrift store.
I searched for a pink shade to match and found this pink flowered fringed one also at a thrift store.

How very charming! I've always loved a fringed, not-shaped-round lampshade. And Pink, of course, is the ideal colour---I'm in midst of re-decorating six-year-old GRAND's room upstairs as a surprise for her birthday.
ReplyDeletePink spread and cornice swags, with some of her little outgrown dancing dresses and costumes hung across the windows, and a tiny pink tutu as a lampshade.
If I had your lamp, I don't think I could stay out of that room---it would continually make me smile.

That turned out perfect. I have a bottom part of the lamp right now in my car - need a globe and it sure has been a hard and long search!
