Welcome Dear Friends to
"A Tapestry Tea".
Today I am using Paragon's "Tapestry Rose".
This Paragon china pattern has beautiful pink roses on a white background with a tapestry appearance.
The teacup has a pedestal base. The foot and fancy handle are all finished in gold.
Perhaps Earl Grey would be a nice change from my favourite Orange Pekoe tea.
Would you like some chocolate or almond cookies with your hot cup of tea?

Or if you would prefer grapes, please help yourself.
While treasure hunting this weekend hubby found another cake plate (above) to add to my collection. It was just $3.99 at Second Chance Thrift Store.
The "Price Kensington" teapot was a gift for my dear mother-in-law many years ago and I inherited it back after she sadly passed away last year.
The lid is covered in gold.
The cream and sugar are so dainty and the tiny matching plate holds them perfectly in place.
It is a very dark and dismal fall day here today and the end of summer geraniums are covered in the showers of rain.
It was so nice to share the comfort of a cup of tea with you today.
Thank you for joining me for
"A Tapestry Tea!"
Have a wonderful week!
Karen

That's a beautifully set table Karen, and sure to brighten up any dull, grey day. We've been having a bit of a run of those lately, haven't we? How come it always gets sunny just in time for the evening? Oh well, tea solves everything. By the way, hubby's a keeper for that find! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful Karen - LOVE your dining room period!!!
