A Friendship and Daffodil Tea

Welcome Sweet Friends to
"A Friendship and Daffodil Tea!"

I am so fortunate to have friends like you to join me for tea today.

Isn't sunny yellow such a cheerful colour to celebrate our upcoming spring month of April?

Our tea today is named after this Royal Albert lovely teacup~
 "Friendship Daffodil."

I love it's elegant shape and the detailed pattern of dainty daffodils.

Sweet Sister gifted me with this gorgeous cup and saucer!

I have also chosen a plain yellow Grafton teacup to blend with our spring daffodil theme today.

Of course there's a touch of a pretty pink rose on the inner cup.

I must tell you that yellow doilies, pillows and accents were few and far between in my pink toned home.

Oh good, an excuse to go thrifting!

Help yourself to a bought bakery treat.

Thank you friends for joining me today for a
"Friendship and Daffodil Tea!"

Happy Springtime!
Karen

  2. Hi Karen,
Your daffodil tea is so bright and pretty and brings a bit of sunshine on this otherwise very drab and cold day here in the Maritimes. Both of your teacups are lovely and I like the teapot too. Daffodils are always a welcome sight. I haven't seen any around yet not even in the grocery stores. Soon, I hope! It's always a pleasure to have you come to tea, Karen, and thank you for joining me.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  3. Love that Daffodil Tea Cup! And enjoyed seeing your daffodils. Can't wait until I can see my own in bloom. If this unwelcome snow would just LEAVE. Thanks for the cheer!

  4. Hello Karen:
I have enjoyed seeing your little table. The daffodil cup and saucer is my favorite. I don't own one but have several on my vintage table to sell at my store right now. I also like your figurine as recently I started buying those at flea markets to sell at my store too. I like seeing them just as you did - mixed in with the tea things! I always look forward to seeing your posting!

  5. Oh lovely Karen! I love the Daffodil teacup. Daffodils are about my most favorite flower, and I don't see them on teacups often. Your table just speaks spring!

  6. Lovely spring teascape, Karen! I adore daffodils -- they just say "spring" to me. The Royal Albert teacup is gorgeous and the Grafton's yellow just perfect with the RA. Yellow is such a happy color. Happy Tea Day

  12. The yellow daffodils really are cheery and I especially love the yellow Royal Grafton teacup. I think the touch of yellow for tea fits right into your home , especially because it seems to shout joyfully "it's spring " !
