The Little White China Cabinet

 

A few months ago my generous sister-in-law e-mailed me asking me if I would like her little white cabinet.  She thought it would look pretty in the cottage.  I was so pleased and we finally managed to drive to her lovely home about 45 minutes from the cottage to pick it up last weekend. 

 

I am still moving things about deciding what looks best.

 

I added some lace and a little crystal at the top,

and a tiny chandelier,

 

 

Teapots, starfish and a teacup.

A birdie, birdcage and decorative plate and of course another crystal on the handle.

I haven't yet decided what looks best on the bottom shelf.

 

Unfortunately the fireplace needs painting and a makeover and it takes away from the beauty of the cabinet.

 

 

My sister-in-law also gave me a box of her favourite Romantic Homes Magazines (Yippee!!!!),

 

 

And a pretty turquoise Paragon teacup.  She also wanted me to have one of her precious and treasured Royal Copenhagen teacups (which I will feature at a later date).

 

 

 

Isn't it a beauty?
